1. About this policy

If, at a later stage, we ask you to provide additional information to help us build a picture of the group's interests and needs we will explain clearly at that time why we are asking and how we will use it. You will not be required to provide that information to remain on the waitlist.
We do not collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act, including health information, financial account details, or government identifiers) at the waitlist stage.
3. How we collect personal information
We collect personal information directly from you when you submit the waitlist form on our website. We do not collect personal information about you from third parties without your knowledge.
Our website may use standard web analytics tools (such as cookies or similar technologies) that collect non-identifying information about how visitors use the site, including pages visited and time spent on the site. This information is used in aggregate form only and is not linked to your identity.
4. Why we collect personal and how we use it

Our waitlist is managed using a third-party platform, Waitlister.me. Their privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy, available at waitlister.me/privacy-policy. By submitting the waitlist form, you acknowledge that your email address will be processed by that platform.
6. Overseas disclosure
Our service providers may store or process data on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure those providers are subject to privacy obligations that are at least comparable to the APPs, or we obtain your consent to the overseas disclosure.
7. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. These steps include using reputable third-party platforms with appropriate security certifications and limiting access to personal information to those within our organisation who need it to perform their functions.

10. Opting out and removal from the waitlist
You can remove yourself from the waitlist at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you. Removal from the waitlist is free and takes effect promptly.
